My affair with photography began before Sesame Street taught me the ABCs while playing model in my sister’s black-and-white photography assignments. My "modeling" days were short-lived though once my father taught me how to load a camera with film and shoot.
Throughout childhood and adulthood, photography remained a faithful companion even as my devotion turned towards others-- music, literature and business.
In 2013, on a trip to South Africa, our relationship changed. It was for the first time we had an honest conversation, and it was with photography whom I could entrust my soul, share my joys and pride, and dream my biggest tales. I realized on that trip how unconditionally dedicated photography had always been and would always be.
Now I spend my days as a self-taught photographer and creative director/founder of Chichi+Max Studio. A longstanding project since 2015 has been documenting artists and the creative process.
If you're interested in working together, collaborating, or just want to say hello, get in touch. Would love to hear from you.
