As Seen In
Hi. I’m
Genevieve
— the author of Yes to It All, a memoir of how I crawled my way out of suicidal depression, quit my corporate job to pursue my love of photography, and traveled the world in search of hope.
Writing a memoir has been one of the most transformational experiences of my life.
I don’t like to “should” on people, but in this case I’m gonna do it— everyone should write a memoir. It’s the greatest gift you can give yourself and the world.
If you’ve ever thought about writing your story, you can learn how to get started in my Intro to Memoir Writing workshop.
A word after a word after a word is power.
— Margaret Atwood
Yes to It All
At the lowest point of her depression, Genevieve sat with razor in hand wondering how much longer she could keep on punishing herself for the divorce, financial debt, and numerous failed career choices, or if she should just end it all right there. Instead of self-destruction, Genevieve crawled her way out of out of the bathroom, sent in her resignation letter, and threw herself into photography and travel.
Debut memoir is OUT NOW!
Stories from the Edges of Love
Along the way, she learned how to confront the repression of intergenerational trauma, religious dogma, rat-race culture, toxic femininity, self-doubt and the starving artist mentality. Not in spite of but because of her run-ins with trial and error, Genevieve reveals what it means to live out loud.
